August 2011

The kids recently just finished up school and have gotten their grades.  We are supposed to get a copy of their marks and letters from the kids to send out in the next month or so.  When we do, we will be sure to forward them on.

The shortage of flour and oil continue in Ethiopia with the distributors withholding sales until the Ethiopian government lets them sell at a higher price or they cave to the demand of the government to sell for the lower government mandated price.  In the mean time, the kids were given butter, tea, spaghetti and a small bag of flour for June and a large bag of teff flour for July.  Due to the shortage of supplies, both were given on the same day.
